The Hidden Soul of the Algarve

No matter how much of Portugal you explore, your journey is incomplete until you venture into the southeastern corner of the country. It is here that the true beauty of the region reveals itself.

While cities like Albufeira offer a high-energy mix of modern "noise" and traditional architecture—defined by those iconic white and blue houses—the real treasure lies further east.

Monte Gordo remains one of Portugal’s most underrated gems. What was once a quiet fisherman’s village has transformed into a sophisticated, family-oriented destination without losing its heart. Upon visiting for the first time, it is impossible not to fall in love with its unique character. Boasting over ten kilometers of pristine, fine-sand beaches and the warmest waters in the country, it is the ultimate expression of the Algarve’s natural splendor.

Below you can find pictures mostly of this part of Portugal. They are taken by me with no photoshop remastering.
